I am selling my 80mm scope which is the carbon version of this desirable scope fitted with FPL-51 glass . I have used it for the past 18 months since purchased from First Light Optics in August 2016. I have used it primarily as a wide field scope in Astrophotography, but also as a travel scope. I am including a field flattener from Rother Valley Optics. I have had it mounted in rings since new, but the original foot and spacer are in the case. The rings are mounted onto a cut down ADM Losmandy plate. There are a couple of surface scratches on the tube, but not really noticeable. I have also dremelledthe finder scope bracket to take my own finder scope, this should not affect anything as only a small amount was removed

Offering true diffraction-limited optics and a lightweight yet sturdy carbon fibre optical tube assembly, this high-quality telescope is a perfect grab-and-go instrument for spontaneous stargazing sessions.
Featuring an air-spaced triplet optical design that virtually eliminates chromatic aberrations, this telescope generates brilliant high-contrast images by combining genuine HOYA extra-low dispersion (ED) glass and proprietary EMD enhanced multi-layer coatings on all optical surfaces. In addition to enhancing portability by reducing weight, the use of carbon fibre for the OTA eliminates focus change attributed to shrinking or expansion caused by temperature fluctuations.
Although it is a standout telescope on its own, the 80mm also is compact enough to mount on a larger telescope, which can add versatility to your astrophotography experience by separating the guiding and imaging duties.
The case is bulky, so pick up preferred Cambridge.
