  1. £300.00 I am selling my 80mm scope which is the carbon version of this desirable scope fitted with FPL-51 glass . I have used it for the past 18 months since purchased from First Light Optics in August 2016. I have used it primarily as a wide field scope in Astrophotography, but also as a travel scope. I am including a field flattener from Rother Valley Optics. I have had it mounted in rings since new, but the original foot and spacer are in the case. The rings are mounted onto a cut down ADM Losmandy plate. There are a couple of surface scratches on the tube, but not really noticeable. I have also dremelledthe finder scope bracket to take my own finder scope, this should not affect anything as only a small amount was removed Description - ED80mm Carbon Fiber Air-Spaced Triplet Refractor Item Number- EDT-0806-CF-01 Focal Length - 480mm Focal Ratio - f/6 Limiting Magnitude 12 Resolution 1.45 arcsec Diameter 96mm Weight 5lb; 2.3kg Offering true diffraction-limited optics and a lightweight yet sturdy carbon fibre optical tube assembly, this high-quality telescope is a perfect grab-and-go instrument for spontaneous stargazing sessions. Featuring an air-spaced triplet optical design that virtually eliminates chromatic aberrations, this telescope generates brilliant high-contrast images by combining genuine HOYA extra-low dispersion (ED) glass and proprietary EMD enhanced multi-layer coatings on all optical surfaces. In addition to enhancing portability by reducing weight, the use of carbon fibre for the OTA eliminates focus change attributed to shrinking or expansion caused by temperature fluctuations. Although it is a standout telescope on its own, the 80mm also is compact enough to mount on a larger telescope, which can add versatility to your astrophotography experience by separating the guiding and imaging duties. The case is bulky, so pick up preferred Cambridge.

  4. Hi, Is the Starlight Xpress 5x2" Filterwheel Carousel still available? Thanks.
  5. I am going to Worksop on Sunday 19th via the A1 from Cambridge. If anyone is interested in making an offer for this I could deliver along the travel corridor.
  6. Hi Derek, I am based in Cambridge. What about you? Kevin
  7. Hi Gus, No the MDS system is not comparable with the vixen unless you have a spare vixen dovetail plate adapter. All items listed except the scope rings are MDS. Kevin
  8. I have changed mounts from a Celestron to an Eq. This item is now surplus to requirements. It has been mounted on a pier with my CPC 1100 for about 6 months. Before that it was on the tripod and was used as required. The face plate has some scuff marks where the securing bolts go. Collection only due to the weight of the wedge. £200.00
  9. I have recently changed my mount from Celestron CPC to Skywatcher EQ, this makes this unit redundant. It is only a few months old and was purchased from Amazon. It is in the original box but the small mount bracket is missing, (just can not find it anywhere, might turn up}. Works perfectly and in in excellent condition. Postage can be arranged at additional cost. £200.00
  10. Various ADM MDS dovetail items. £100 is the price is for all the items, but will split for prices shown below. Postage is not included.
