Liking your star trails, never had a go at this when using a fixed tripod, I might have a look in to it myself

Stuart, I cant believe this is only my third attempt to, I was very surprised once I started pulling out the detail in Photoshop at how much I managed to get out of the stacked image. This is the first image I have used flats in and it certainly makes a difference in the final picture.
Just need to get some shorter exposures for the core detail as it is a bit washed out and try to get some more data to sort out the Signal to noise, maybe a few lessons in Photoshop as well lol

Thank you Andy, this was taken under a Fairly dark sky on the beach just outside Plymouth city center.
this and my other milky way pics were my first ever attempt at taking pictures of the night sky.
they turned out ok with no knowledge about photography or astronomy, or no processing skills.
hopefully I can get out again this summer and try again with everything i have learnt so far
