will never depart from my 32 nagler. Are they not made any longer by TV?

I agree - the only way to view the veil is with an 0111 filter. With it in my 32 nagler in my refractor give amazing views.

I just purchased the new one and will try to compare my version from around 2010 to the new one on PNs. If all goes well will give my feedback. However they do make fine filters.

Just received a terrific review in S & T (July) by Rod Mollise. Anyone else have the opportunity to try it out?

I have 2 naglers 31 & 2.5mm and love them both. I viewed the moon the other night with the 2.5 which gave me 216x with my refractor and the quality of the view was magnificent. all the TV EPs are great. The veil in my 31mm can't be beat.

I find it extremely helpful in the alignment and it has been helpful in training my eye to center without it. I use a 12.

go to the Astronomy Forum (sign in - no cost) there is a section pertaining to Meade and lots of fellow astronomers who have meads can give you good advice. I have that model - no problem - holds object quite well. I am certain there is something in the manual that addresses this issue. good luck.

Joined SGL this year and thank the organizers as well as the members. It has been a thoroughly informative and enjoyable experience. It certainly enhanced my world of astronomy. Much appreciation for all those posts I read over the year and look forward learning more and contributing.

I just pick up a fantastic case. Go online and check out pelican cases. They have distributors worldwide. Very sturdy, strong locks, pick & pluck foam, choice of colors, and quite inexpensive.

correction it is the 31 nagler and in my TV 101 see approx 4.5 degrees so this set up with the 0111 on the veil is great.
