hello guys another new member howver im the one that actualy bought the original posters items , he listed them on ebay , the LX850 mount was missing the 12inch scope plus the 80mm guidescope and camera section along with the hand controler , the big box you see in the pics is the tripod and it weighs in at almost 25kilos on its own the big refractor in the case is an explore scientific 152mm triplet carbon fibre tube and for some reason the dew shield is detached and its listed at £5300 but they seem to be as rare as unicorns , can only find 1 place listing one and its out of stock theres not even any videos on youtube of this scope im hoping to use the mount even though specs wise its way more than i need and hoping theres alternat options for the missing guidescope/camera part as its pretty big and is listed at £790 on Meades website .......the whole settup lx850 comes in at 200lbs just figured id join and bring you all up to date and let you know exactly what the original poster had , as for what i paid the owner was happy i was happy though i got another £1000 to pay it seems to get it all working
