  1. Yep it's M4. I think you are probably right, but I was hoping to drill as a last resort in case I mess it up. Especially given as it's basically functional as-is.
  2. Hi Mike, not dumb at all! Sorry for not being clearer. Here is it how it looks on the declination slow motion control. You can see the head of the thumb screw in it's not broken condition . In the original picture, the sort of gold part on the shaft is where the head of the thumb screw broke off.
  3. Hi everyone, I got a Celestron 130EQ Astromaster for Christmas and during assembly the thumb screw broke on the RA slow motion control (see image). Generally it's not been a problem, it does turn it. However, there are some points in the sky where the slow motion declination control can't pass it. Also, for convenience sometimes it would be nice to take it off and put it on the other side. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Thanks, Stephen
