  1. Hello, Does anyone here have experience with the Hawke Endurance ED for astronomy? In my piece, Ghosting appears when looking at bright objects (moon, lamp, etc). It only manifests itself in the left eyepiece, in the right eyepiece it's OK. Has anyone had similar experiences? Is this a common feature of the binocular in question or is it worth returning and replacing? Thank you in advance for your answers
  2. Hello, Amazon has accepted my return and refund request. Thank you for your help. I may try to buy another piece in the future to see how it performs.
  3. Hello, I recently bought an Opticron Adventurer T WP 10x50. I would like to ask the owners of this binocular if their piece behaves the same as mine: I have the feeling that maybe the central 30 - 40% of the field of view is sharp. Brighter stars like Vega start to blur beyond that point (coma effect I guess). At the edges, the stars are already so blurry that they almost look like some kind of DSO. It seems as if the blurring is in the inner part: if I look into the left eyepiece, the blurring is manifested on the right. Conversely, if I look into the right eyepiece, the blur manifests itself on the left. Is this normal behavior or do I have a defective piece? I still own an Opticron Oregon WA 10x50 and have not observed anything like this there. I have also not seen anything similar in the Opticron Oregon 4 PC Oasis 8x42 and 10x42 monoculars. Thank you in advance for your answers.
  4. Hello, I use Celestron C6 and Explore Scientific ED80 telescopes on my AZGTiX mount. It works OK overall, but I think I'm getting close to the load limit. There is vibration when focusing but it settles down within 2s or so. Interestingly, the telescope on the left (ED80) often needs to be fine tuned with the auxiliary wheels on the left saddle. I suppose the L-bracket bends a bit under the weight of the telescope. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
  5. Hello, I would like to ask the community of this forum for advice on binoculars. I currently own an Opticron Oregon WA 10x50 which has a good review by Stephen Tonkin. I'm quite happy with it, but would like something similar, just a bit more durable (waterproof). So I'm looking for some waterproof 10x50 binoculars. Ideally with a weight of around 900g (I plan to hold the telescope in my hands while observing). My budget is 150 - 230 €. I am currently comparing 2 models that have good reviews from Stephen Tonkin: 1. Opticron Adventurer T WP 10x50. Review: https://binocularsky.com/reviews/Opticron_Adventurer_T_WP_10x50.pdf 2. BRESSER 10x50 Corvette - Waterproof. Review: https://www.skyatnightmagazine.com/reviews/binoculars/bresser-10x50-corvette-binoculars The Opticron looks cool, but it does not have prisms in the cages and isn't filled with inert gas. The Bresser, on the other hand, has a smaller effective aperture (46mm vs 48.5mm) and is heavier (940g vs 759g). Which of the above models would you choose and why? I also really like the Opticron Imagic TGA WP 10x50, but I couldn't find it anywhere in EU eshops (I'm from Slovakia). I was also considering the Nikon Action EX 10x50 CF WP, but its weight is 1020g. Thank you in advance for your advice and opinions. By the way, sorry for my English. I have translated this text from Slovak into English using machine translation (deepl).
