Hi, I'm new to everything to do with Astronomy but I've been wanting to get a telescope for years and now I'm retired and an opportunity came up to get a telescope kit. So here's my. question: it's a Celestron 6SLT with a motorised mount but to me the Tripod seems a bit flimsy, is there any way of stiffening it up? I've looked at a better mount from Celestron but it's way outside my price range having just forked out for the telescope. Any help will be useful. Trev
