Started this journey about 6 months ago, I was reading an article about photography on line and it mentioned astrophotography using just a DSLR? I have been doing photography for years as a hobby but never ever thought of pointing it at the night sky, so I took my Canon camera and tripod into the garden and pointed it into the darkness, set a high iso and set a 1 second timer then pushed the button. “ WoW” the result I got was amazing, so many stars, I didn’t know you could get such great results with gust a camera, I needed to do more. I have just purchased a Star adventurer 2i pro mount for longer exposures, and the shopping list grows. All I need now is a clear sky. look forward to posting a few images.
