Interesting topic as I've just taken delivery of a Sky-Watcher 200PDS and thought the same thing with the 28mm 2" eyepiece supplied. It also seemed a bit unlikely, but poor customer service not to supply everything needed to get going with the scope. Needless to say, similar to the OP, I already have a number of different 1.25mm eyepieces, and happily played away, but was intrigued by the 28mm. So today sorting through the various packaging and components I wasn't going to use, there I found a 2" extension tube, which I'd mistakenly thought related to the finder scope (not using as I use a red dot finder). So issue resolved, and now just waiting for a good night to try the 28mm out!
