The CPC tripod is 2 inch legs, the feet are just shy of that I think. I had thought about some sort of end caps or maybe some generic rubber feet. The feet come to a point and are conical shaped so just wondered if there was something specific for them. I know some camera tripods have sort of over feet that just slip on. Might be something out there that could be adapted.

Does anyone know if there are rubber feet/covers available from somewhere for the CPC/Heavy Duty Tripod. The newer ones have orange metal feet and as I observe mostly on concrete these aren't ideal as they get scratched and dinged up easily. I know I could get a set of any vibration pads but I wondered if there was anything which could go over and cover the existing metal feet.

For larger SCT focal reducer is a worthwhile item. Never going to have a massive field but it gives more flexibility with FOV.

If it's a Celestron I use their custom dew heater rings which replace the ring sitting on the outer edge of the corrector plate. Works wonders, removed the dewed over plate in less than five minutes, combined with a dew shield didn't dew over again.
Next on my list for my 11 inch. Glad to hear they work well.

On my C6 I do the Baader ultra short SCT to T2 and then the Baader 1.25 screwed onto that.

Another vote for the RACI. Don't use a red dot any more. Did have one of the Baader Sky surfers which are good but the comfort of the RACI always wins out for me.
