Thanks for the informations that you guys provided, i bought a 6mm plossl eyepiece and i will try it when it arrives with the scope, i'will try with some high magnifications, if indead 50x will be the limit i will refund it and order my 150/750 scope. Really appretiate yours help. One more thing, i was considering buying this thing. Although, it dons't say if it's a Plossl design anywere, does you guys know about that? also, do i lose quality with that, or would be better just buy separeted eyepieces

I see, i understand now. Now, since you guys was talking about eyepieces, this telescope will come with standard Hughes lens, which i know is not that good, but i didn't find any images comparations with Plossl vs Hughes, do you guys have some image? reason for, like i said, it comes with Hughes lens(6mm and 20mm), if the diference is big, i will buy thoses 6mm and 20mm in Plossl, if not i will buy some diference eyepieces, if you guys dont have images, i will appreciate some opinions. Also, in my understanding, it would be better to get a 5X barlow with a 10mm eyepiece, to reach 150x, them use a 3x Barlow with a 6mm eyepiece, is that right? One more thing, does Barlows have types? such as Plossl or Hughes?

I see, thanks. I wans't trying to get opnions for what to buy, since i had another topic talking about that, mainly want to understand the FL with Barlow. So a 200FL * 5 Barlow will give-me the same image as the 1000 native FL would give. Cool First i bought a 70/400 Refractor with azimutal mount, got some good images, but that mount is a trick to use, so i decide to refund and get another one, since i like the view. So I bought that one, 76mm/300mm, just want to know if the barlow would make the image worse, even if i respect the 150X maginification. I got this one for 2 reasons, Size and shipping time. If i dont like that one i wil get a 130mm or 150mm with 750FL with the same Donbsomething mount, and i also buying the eyepieces and barlow, because i can use in both of them anyway.

Hello again, i have some questions about the Focal length and how it work with barlows, question being, does the barlow make the image quality worse. even if it respects the limits of the telescope? Example, if i have a 80/200 telescope and a 80/1000 telescope, same piece of equipamente, only diference is the focal length, can i compensate the 200mm one with a 5x Barlow, them both would have 1000mm of focal length, would i have the same quality image between both telescopes? also assuming both are using the same eyepiece. Also, barlows work in any type of telescope? (Refractors and Reflectors), or each one need a special barlow, i am in the proccess of buying some lens and barlow, so i want to know if i need look something more specifc. (i know that we have like 1.25 and 2" entries)

I understand your point of view, but my spectations are very balanced, i do not expect see view as hubble, also i did alot of research about what i will be able to see with a 70mm relescope, i do have money to buy idk, a 1000$ telescope, i just dont know if is a hobby that i will persue, the 70mm will give me some views of nebule and planets, i know i wont see big details, but if i want to see more, if i realy enjoy it, i will buy a bigger one. like i say, i am already in contact with a local manufacturer to buy a 150mm or 200mm reflector telescope. Btw, it just arived, i played with it seeing some planes e far biulding, looks pretty good, adaptor for smartphone is a little bit tricky tho. hopefully the skies will be clear tonight

If i enjoy it i already find a local manufacturer with great reviews from users and astro scholls, probable will order a 150mm reflector later this year. A little update for you guys. I decided to get a 70mm/400mm Telescope, primarily because i will make a travel soon, and i want to take it with me, will be very hard to carry a 150mm reflector in my full packed car, Also, i going to a beach, and that opened reflector filling up with sand is giving me nightmares, also, i think will be a good first telescope, take a good intruduction into this hobby, if i really get into it, i will look for a 150mm reflector or something like it to buy. Anywaym thx for the informatioin you guys provided. One last question, does the quality of the eyepieces/barlow take a bit hit on the image quality? i was looking for some comparison between bad vs good lens, didn't find any good information. If it does make a big diference, is the celestron eyepieces a good brand to get it from?

Just for you guys have a ideia what i am talking about, this is a PowerSeeker 80EQ almost double the price. if it was 200$ i would grab it on the spot.

Completely understand that, it make sense, idk if it sounded like i was angry, wasn't my intention, just wanted to make clear that i have reasonable expectation about the performace of thoses telescopes, i am not expecting some 3D model live. It's just a different felling about seeing thoses objects live you know? even if is a tiny spot, like, we know how it looks like through photos from Hubble and JWST, seeing it live is a different felling that i want to experience. Seeing Saturn like this would already be awesome for me Also seeing andromeda like this would be cool, but i guess if i do take a 700mm 70m, would probable be worse than that. Anyway, i dont expect 3D model from space, we already have that. Also i will have to take my chances, Celestron telescopes that cost about 100 Dollars, for some reason is as high as 400 Dollars around here, cuz of that i will be taking my chances with some local telescopes, hopefully i will have some luck.

I know i wont be getting hubble images, you guys are talking too much about waste of money, dont know about the US, but here we can return goods to get back the money for about a week or so, i am more worry about time. so i can test some telescopes, and i was saying, i want to have some experience first, before dump 1k into telescopes

Celestron or Skywatcher, well yes, we have some models, but it seems they are more fancy that good, i see some 70mm x 700mm 7x more expensive that some other models, only diference is the mount, so idk if i will grab some from thoses branch's for the mount. Some Skylife models are cheap here, dont know if Skylife and Skywatcher has some similar tecs A Tssaper TLES85, 80mm x 500mm. About 200$ (1300 R$) To much choices. 'me no like'

At first i was looking something for about 100$(About 650 R$), but i am looking for some more expansive(200$) models like some 114mm This models is a 114mm x 1000mm, it seems the brand is Golden Sun. Or this one 114mm x 900mm SkyLife But still, i didn't want a expansive one cuz i dont know if will hook me up, good chance that i will use a couple of times and no more, also, refractor would be better since is somewhat cheaper and is easier to transport, also less maintenance. But i also want to be able to se some constalations / nebulous. i know it wont be hubble(Or JWST, duno if is the new parameter) quality, but just to see would be good

Quite bad since i live in a big city, but i travel for inner citys quite often, also, there is any problem in using telescopes in beach? "If you have access to a computer", Brazil is poor but we are not dinosaur lol, JK. Although i could buy expansive telescopes, i just dont want to commit that ammout of money in something i not realy sure if will hook me into, so cuz of that i will chose more starter telescopes, if i get hooked i can go for more expansive ones. Also, i think i going to get the 70/400, since i planing in going to the beach with that, and thoses open mirror(Reflector i guess) can be a pain in the ass to clean, i dont like pain in the ass. First of all, sorry for that question, i know that alot of articles about that, i have research quite a bit, but i didn't find a answer yet. First, i live in Brazil, minimun wage here is about 200$, so price is a big hit, my questioning now is, should i get a 900/60 or a 400/70, now, like i did my research and i know that the 900/60 is best for planetary view (Moon jupiter blablabla) and the 400/70 would be better for deep space, now i have one question, i know that more focal length will get more zoom, but lose light and quality, so if i get 900/70, i can make the adjustment to use less focal length for better Deep space (Seems like a obvius question but i want to make sure, since i didn't saw nothing about that), also i want to know the best tradeoff for me looks like the 400/70 would be better since i would have less case scnarions with the 900/60(Moon and planets) and, as we know, we have more Deep space objects to look at then planets. my current choices are: Azimutal 700mmx76mm Tssaper. Looks like a very good choice, but i didn't saw many reviews or usage in youtube, so i dont know about it's quality, hopefully you guys can help me with that.
