I took apart the controlmodule to inspect the motherboard and soldering, I found some bad soldering/cracks on the board.

Then I took apart both motorn and test it on the bench, now both motor works and no noise from dec motor.

Now im gonna to resolder the bad soldering and hope it works.

  2. Hello

I have have a eqm-35 pro and i have a problem with my stepper motor on dec axis. Its making grinding noises.

It dosent turn. I disassemble the dec drive and found that the stepper motor was bad.

I have checkt on the internet for a replacement part but I only find steppermotor for eq3/eq3 pro.

I wounder if anyone know if it the same stepper motor on the eqm-35 Pro?

  3. I like to thank you all for the replys and help.
Sorry for the late update from me.

I found out what was wrong, it was the dslr (600d) itself the was broken.
Something has happend to the camera.
I thought it was working because i was testning it with a canon lens some days before, something must have happend after that, because now i cant focus with a canon lens.
    And i borrowed a friends 600d, unmodded
    Camera and that will focus.

  4. Hello

I have problem to reach focus with my dslr camera attach to the telescope.

The telescope is a Sw150 pds, and my camera is a canon 600d modded.

I can reach focus with my old dslr, canon 450d, but not with the 600d.

I have tried with a lower t-ring adapter,

    And with extension tubes.

It feels like it need to further in, but it cant go more in.

I can get it to focus if i use a barlow lins with a extension tub attach.

Is it something i do wrong?

As it's returning an ip address like that would indicate a previous network connection.  You need to go into the settings and search for a wifi connection instead.  If it does not show your device in the find box then check the connection settings there are 2 options, one to auto connect on opening the app and the other whether to find devices.

Okey, the wifi dongel i new i box, i hade this problem from start.  I had a az-gti with the same app and that work perfect.

    Okey i should try that.

I might also be wrong but from the screen-grab your WiFi is already connected to the dongle...the ! symbol next to the WiFi symbol suggests it is anyway.

EDIT: where did you install the SynScan app from and which version is it? Some are known not to work with later versions of Android.

Yeah, i found and connect to the synscan wifi, but when starting the app to connect it dosent work.

I have android so i downloaded it from the playstore.

Okey, perhaps i should try a diffrent version of the app.

  7. Hello

I have bought a synscan wifi adapter dongel to my eqm-35pro.

But i have problem connecting to my phone, i says cant connect to mount, communication error.

I can connect to its wifi, but cant connect it with synscan app.

I have tried diffrent phones, same fault.

I have tried to reset the wifi dongle by leaving it on for one hour.

And tried to reinstalling the app.

I cant get it to work.

At the moment my faulty AZ GTi has gone back to Harrisons Telescopes so I'm waiting on them, I only had it for a little over 2 months so I'm hoping for a replacement. As soon as one arrives I'll post a picture.

Okey sorry to hear that. My az-gti stopped working after a few days i got it to.

When I rotated it manually and also with the app control, so at a certain position on its axis it stopped working. I got my exchange on warranty.

    That would be great

  10. Okay, I have checked a bit on this, just need to find the mounts here in Sweden to turn to eq mode. I have tested with a barlow that I had and it is a barlow x5. No, unfortunately I did not get a lens for the camera.

I have looked a bit at others focusing on the telescope, but do not want to spend too much money on this, as it may be more worthwhile to spend the money on a new telescope made for Astro photo.

  11. Hello I am a beginner in telescopes and astronomy and also here on this forum. I have a Skywatcher 130ps with az-gti headmount. Which I used for a while and I'm happy. But thought of trying to photograph the sky so I bought a used Canon eos 450d, as well as a t2 ring with accessories to mount on the telescope. The problem is that I do not manage to get any focus with the camera. Then bought a low profile T2 ring for the camera, it got a little better, but still far from good focus. Also tested a barlow lens and even this I do not get a good focus with. Have tried reading on forums and realized that this type of telescope and mount is not the best for camera photography, but some have still managed to photograph with these telescopes. Have seen that some move the primary mirror a few centimeters to get better focus. Is this something I can test with my telescope? Or is there something else but can do? I am a beginner in this, am grateful for all the answers.
