astroenthusiast 279 Posted January 11, 2022 NGC 4490, there are some unwanted noise in the image. The ASI2600 mm Pro, quite honestly doesn't require dark, bias or flat frames. Tested with calibrated and the work came out worst than the image presented. The process software used was Astro Pixel Processor. I'm still learning Pix Insight, though some of the work flow in Pix Insight, I'm not impressed. It's probably my lack of skillset. Will keep experimenting unitl I can at least create better monochrome images and then add in LRGB filters. The image was captured using OIII, SIII, HA filters. Link to comment
