The Sunflower galaxy, image was captured using 9 sub-frames at 300 second exposures each. The instrument used, a 165 mm APO refractor and CMOS color camera. The gain was set a bit to high for this particular celestrial object, 224. The camera temperature was set at -29 Celsius. The mount used, a Sky-Watcher EQ8 R Pro, equatorial mount. Polar alignment was obtained using a QHY - Polemaster camera and plate solving for guiding.
