May half moon 2
First half may moon
My only clear night during that may holidays was spoiled by the moon, so I shot it.
This is the other stack of 2, with the upper exposure. Result is less contrasty but has more depth. Selected the horizontal orientation, for a change.
Gear: Skywatcher 130PDS with Olympus E-PL6 on Omegon EQ-300 tracking RA
Capture: about 25 burst shots × 1/200s × 400 ISO
Site: deep country within 50km from Limoges, France (dark sky)
Processing: UFRaw, CVAstroAlign, Fotoxx
