Milky Way stacking attempt

Xeelix

Bit of an odd one, I know... I left my camera pointing straight up at the Milky Way, hoping to snap some Perseid meteors, and by the end of the night I had about 50 very similar photos of the Milky Way. So I thought I would see what happened if I stacked them!

The result is a bit strange because the source images are JPEGs at ISO1600, so quite noisy, and also I was using a wide angle lens, hence the warping of the image at the sides. I think it's quite fun overall though!
