Hi all,

I'll be getting a Skywatcher 1145p as a present:),

the reviews seem good. This will be my first telescope. I've been using binoculars for years. Any advice on filters and extra lenses?

i could write a 10/15 page essay on what i would like and want filter and eps stay away from those kits spend the same money on a decent 7mm/21mm zoom unless like me you buy a starter kit and find they not to bad but then will only upgrade

filters depends what you want to look at? a lpf one is good if you in a city or urban areas with lots of street light glow

eye pieces get the best you can or what the bank balance can afford (now you have a scope watch the bank balance go down rapidly) get the best you can am sure some one will say diferent as every one as eye pieces they love and will tell you "there the best"

let us no about your first light
