July 1, 2015: Solar lunchtime with great proms

Recommended Posts

Had a really nice time in the sun with the SolarMax 60. The prom on the north-east I captured this morning is going from strength to strength. It looks like a huge acacia tree on the African savannah. Below it, a low arc slowly raised up from the limb, and a bright blotch evolved in it. Further south, a curious bright, spiky knot of plasma reared up, and then developed into a surge-like structure. Something is brewing there just around the limb. Thoroughly enjoyable!
