An old friend revisited.....

Here is first light with the Celestron RASA that is not the moon. 35 30 second subs with an Atik 490 OSC. M57 was very low but still a bright target.

I still need to work on focus, a new T-point model & get the OTA mounted into rings as it is flexing in the dove tail of the Paramount  mount according to the T-point model. The results however are encouraging. This is only about 1/5 of the total image. It is rammed full of stars- lovely considering it was not a very clear night & I'm close to the airport.

Can't wait for M57 & M27 to get higher in the sky!
