Blogging with a Mac

I've got a new scope on the way and want to document my journey with it via a blog.

Can anyone recommend some nice easy and free blogging software for a Mac user?

Hello Dave,

I'm not sure what kind of blogging software you're looking for so I will assume both cases, online and offline.

As for the online, I highly recommend two platforms: Wordpress and Blogger. Wordpress is a great open source tool that you can edit it the way you want and it has an enormous choices when it comes to plug-ins, themes and social network integrations.

As for offline, I personally use Pages that's preinstalled in every mac. It's simple and visually appealing, I haven't tried 3rd parties softwares. But Pages will do the purpose, hopefully.
