Skywatcher 9x50 Right-Angled, Erecting Finderscope Review

SkyWatcher's 9x50 Right-Angled Erecting Finderscope provides an upright image with completely corrected left/right image orientation for more comfortable and convenient operation when compared to a traditional straight-through viewing finder, the scope is glittery gloss black with a white mount but if you have the SW 9x50 straight-through finder the black mount on that fits so you can go all black.

The achromatic 50mm objective delivers good light gathering, a wide 45° field of view and a cross-hair reticule for easy navigation, Pin sharp stars and comfortable eye relief.

Easy to setup and easy to use. The mounting bracket fits into standard finder shoes from Vixen, Skywatcher, Celestron, GSO, etc

This is a great finder scope but is a nightmare to align the telescope with an object, in fact I couldn't do it. The two solutions i tried and tested and that worked for me where:

1) use existing straight finder or red dot then simply switch to the angled finder (this will only work if finder mounting shoe are the same)

2) Telrad! I have one so use that
