Hitecastro DC Focuser users (mains power)

Hello all.

I`m after a bit of advice. I have recently got hold of a Hitecastro DC focus controller. I`m lucky enough to have built a powered obsy so i will be running the focuser off mains supply. I ordered on of these adapters but actually received this. Will the delivered adapter be ok or am i going to have issues. I have also bought I this for the car lighter end to the controller. I haven`t got a problem receiving the wrong adapter as long as the one i have works.

Hi Andy,

I have a similar setup for my "box of tricks" to power my mount, focuser, cameras etc.. while I controller from my conservatory.

Just check your cigar plug is "tip positive" and replace the fuse with a 1 amp. You don't need a bigger fuse.

When you say change the fuse, do you mean on the controller itself?

Would this be good to power the focus controller from the mains?

That is just what you want, at an excellant price and it has the ideal 1 amp fuse.

I meant to say change the fuse in the cigar plug.
