ETX90 to AZ goto mount

as I have just used the Skywatcher hand controller for my 300p dob, I wanted to use the AZ tripod with my old & trusty ETX 90. I have it removed from the fork mounts. These are not going to be used again.

There are other posts I have been reading up on here, but I have not been able to get a clear idea of how to mount the ETX90 specifically to a dovetail AZ mount. The ETX90 has 2 screw holes on the underside so..

Can I just buy a short dovetail like:

Dovetail Bar (Short 15cm) | eBay UK

then put a could of bolts through onto the existing ETX holes. Or do I need another plate/adaptor?

I think if I just attache the ETX this was, the view finder will be at the bottom of the scope.

I kind of want to do this on the cheap as I probably wont be using the ETX that much

bought a dovetail and drilled two holes, job done.

Might use it for a Solar Scope with solar filter film.

Finder scope is underneath but shold be ok
