Goto Holder on Tripod loose

Hi,

I have just today received my new Celestron C9.25-SGT XLT GOTO, and have problems with the goto holder on the tripod sliding down the leg. I have clipped it over the leg as stated in the manual but it just drops down. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so how did you get round the problem please?
