Advice on starting in DSO imaging

Hi all!

I've been looking at some of the pics on this forum in awe today.... I've been toying with trying to get started in astrophotography for a good ten years now and I'm now finally taking the plunge.

I won't post in detail again here as this is the wrong forum, but I've posted on the Equipment Advice forum asking about the sort of kit I might be able to get away with when starting out in DSO imaging.

I was hoping one or some of the DSO experts on here may be able to tell me what kit they use and whether I'm heading along the right tracks with what I was planning to get?

Thanks all... I am feeling somewhat inspired!!
