Hi Mark and welcome to the forum. Given your future purchase date, can I suggest you buy "Making Every Photon Count" by our very own Steve Richards which will help you make an informed decision about kit as imaging seems to be the direction you're heading in. Good imaging doesn't come cheap and so its better to have that overview before you commit yourself.
