Solar film and exposure time

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I'm planning ahead to January the 4th when the clouds will spoilt the eclipse. I'm tempted to run a tracked timelapse sequence of the eclipse using a 5D MkII and 600mm f4L prime and I'm curious about the probably exposure time through solar film.

Can someone give me a nominal shutter speed/iso/aperture that they use for solar imaging?
