EQ5 tripod upgrade?

Hi all,

I have an EQ5 with box aluminium tripod. The mount has a lot of flex when I used my 120mm f8.3 and not very stable with C6+SV80 (visual and imaging). I heard upgrading the tripods would reduce this problem, so what are my options?

The two choices I found so far are HEQ5's steel tripod and Vixen's HAL130. I hear the HAL 130 is as strong as the steel HEQ5 but a bit lighter. Does anyone have any experience with these tripods?

I wanted the package to be portable, so filling the existing tripod with concert isn't really an option.
