About Wixeys

I've been reading about the use of Wixey digital inclinometers for use with dobs. Being a woodworker, I've also seen folks using other Wixey devices for controlling depth of cut on machines, et al.

I'm aware of other devices but don't know if they are as accurate. I'm posting links here to a couple of tools that are offered by the Canadian company, Lee-Valley.

Please comment on whether or not these might be as useful as the Wixey. The protractor seems to be a bit less expensive. I have one that I've used in woodworking.
