Questions about Comet Hartely

Hi everybody.

I am right on the North East coastline I have no telescope but i do have binoculars I was wondering where to look? I am really new to this stuff but this is one thing i do not want to miss out on if possible.

ah, Sorry... You will need to find the bright star 'Capella' which rises in the North East, Hartley is passing from East to West over the next few days just below Capella. I got a look the other night with a 6" telescope and was only just able to resolve it as a very feint smudge.
