Celestron (CPC) handset stuck "initializing"

My CPC1100 has gone sick, the handset just says "Initializing" & does nothing else. Doesn't respond to buttons. Power is OK & I've tried plugging the handset into the Aux ports, same symptoms.

It was working at 6:20 this morning, nothing unusual on start up last night.

Any ideas?

Any idea of the HC firmware rev .. could try "verifying" it or reflashing...

I picked up a "spare" handset in a bargain box at an auction that had GT series firmware installed and reflashed it with the CPC Software and it works a treat...

Yeah, I guess so .... I hate loading the Nexstar software though ....
