As most regs know I'm going for the TAL 1 pedestal for the time being.. has anyone else tried fitting an EQ3 or 5 head onto one before??Any advice is appreciated

I'm 99% sure that the synta eq3/eq5 head is NOT the same as the wooden TAL tripod, which I assume is the same as the TAL Pedestal. It's likely that you will need an adapter plate to interface between the 2. Our resident engineer (Arthur) can probably make you something up.

Of course theres a chance i'm wrong and it will just fit, but I don't think so.
