meade etx125 ota v skymax 127 ota

hi guys,

just a quick question, got a skywatcher az goto mount with a celestron 130eq f/5 reflector ota, thinking of the above ota`s,want a bigger f rating for planetary observing,got a chance of a bare etx125 ota for a good price heard good things about the optics but bad reports on the mounts, would it be difficult to fit the etx on this mount or could i use the celestron tube rings,the skymax 127 would fit straight on, thoughts please guys and many thanks,

According to my Googling, the etx125 weighs about the same as a Skymax 127 and therefore the mount should be able to hold it. Assuming of course that you have the dovetail mount on the scope (or rings + dovetail).
