Sorry for delay in posting ... I was busy due to an unexpected burt of good weather & preparing this report got pushed down the priority list.

Weather at last cleared but it fooled me - a highly unsatisfactory morning session (much drifting high cloud) was all I thought I was going to get, but it cleared nicely in the afternoon & I ended up redoing everything.

Solar activity is generally low.

AR 11100, just a few small spots & pores, is approaching the west limb; there is a notable thick filament to its south:

A new spot group, AR 11101, has appeared round the east limb, there is filamentary activity associated with this too:

Transparency good. Seeing poor with substantial boiling. Temperature 19C, wind calm.
