12v Powertank cable to connect to Meade DS mount.

Hi All. This may seem a peculiar question. Attempting to dispence with the use of battery pack on a meade DS mount I use.

I have a Celestron powertank. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a power cable to connect the two without blowing the motors in the mount arm.

Was looking to by a 12v lead from halfords, chopping the end off and connecting to mount after removing the battery holder.

Think may not be a wise move.

The DS mount does not have a dedicated cable connector port unlike other Meade models. DOH.

As u can tell. Electrics - I no likey
