brantuk Posted July 28, 2010 Share Posted July 28, 2010 Hi Yiangos and welcome to the group I usually recommend either a Skywatcher 130P or 150P as a good first scope. But it mostly depends on your budget? Brand new the 130P is around £130 on a dobsonian mount and up to £240 ish with a full alt/az goto mount. If you forego the electronics then somewhere in between you could get a bit more aperture with a 150P on an EQ3-2 or dobsonian mount.Either of these will give good views of planets and the brighter dso's.Hope that helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
