Dark skies in Sussex/Surrey area

Hi all,

I'm in desperate need of a dark sky location to do some astronomy. I live in the Surrey/Sussex area.

Does anyone know of any dark locations they tell me about?

Well, West Sussex is going to be better than Surrey.You could look at the area around Haslemere, though at this time of the year (up until mid-august) the sky never really gets completely dark as the night's are too short.
