Sun - 19 Jun - nice spots

There are a couple of smallish but well formed (with penumbra) spots associated with AR 11082 near the meridian in the northern hemisphere. Those of you with white light filters - or a small brass 'n' glass refractor and a projection screen - do go out and have a look if the Sun is shining where you are. I have images 'in the can' but today the seeing was very poor so I don't expect them to be that good.

Ha is almost boring, there is a nice row of proms on the east limb but - apart from the plage & filaments associated with the acive area - not much else.
