Greyed out on the 11th but three sessions on the 12th: lots of interference from mid level cloud & thickening high cloud from mid morning.

The new active region in the north west (AR 11081) is developing nicely; the CaK overview shot (made in the breakfast time session) shows evidence of flaring, the bright points were much brighter than CaK plage normally is.

Flaring in AR 1081 is also evident in Ha and CaK closeups:

In white light, it looks like someone's been using the Sun for target practice with a 12 bore:

Meanwhile, AR 11080 near the south west limb is well developed and AR 11079 between 1080 and the limb appears to have revived:
