Changing format

Is it possible to change the format an image is stored as?

The LPi automatically saves images as JPEGs and there is, as far as I can see, no way of changing that. I've tried opening the image to Save As but that only gives the option as saving as a JPEG with a different name.

Specifically, I would like to change JPEGs to either BMP or AVis.

I couldn't get the on-line version to wor, but the free download has worked a treat.
