Finally got a break in the clouds for the first time since all that snow and of course, it had to be on the night of a full moon! Of course, mars at opposition was looking amazing and Saturn put in a slightly surprising appearance. I was startled by the huge difference in seeing, and how rapidly it improved, as the ringed planet turned from a dirty smudge into a shining golden sphere in just about half an hour. Can't work out which moons I saw though, although I guess Titan and one other. Just need some 'dark of the moon time now!

Have you tried looking on Stellarium for which moons you saw? If you change it back to the day and time you were out observing then you can zoom in on Saturn and see where the moons were (of course your view would be upside down from that)
