Nene Valley Astronomical Society Forthcoming Events For The Wellingborough and East Northants area:

Monday 18th January

'Cosmic Catastrophe' a lecture by Doug Ellison at Chelveston Village Hall at 8.00pm.

Thursday 21st January

Observing Evening at Sywell Country Park, off the Mears Ashby Road mid-way between Wellingborough and Northampton from 8.00pm.

Nene Valley Astronomical Society is a friendly informal society with events driven directly by it's members. All very welcome!

Sheridan Williams of the British Astronomical Association will be speaking at our next meeting on Monday 15th March.

Sheridan has observed 11 total solar eclipses and will be recounting his experiences and showing some of his images.

Venue is Chelveston Village Hall (just off the A6 at Higham Ferrers), starting at 8.00pm.
