Flashing LED on Dual-Axis Motor Drive for EQ5

I was out with the scope for hours last night and the motor drive was on for most of that time. Towards the end of my session the green LED thats in the centre of the control panel started to flash. I had a look in the instructions but there is nothing about it. I'm assuming it means the batteries are running out or something like that, can anyone confirm this? If thats the case I better go and buy some spares as it's looking like another clear night ahead... hopefully!!

Yep, batteries running low. Mine continues to work for quite a period before finally giving up.

Low power OR a bad lead. With a GoTo its fatal - if the light starts flashing you can get the scope claiming its on target when its nowhere near.

I don't have GoTo so it's not that bad, hopefully it's just the batteries, I'll change them first and if that doesn't work I'll take a look at the lead.

Batteries are far more likley. The flashing light indicating the leads duff is more usual on a GoTo.
