Browsing through the Primer section I have just found this wonderful Moon Map & Key (2 documents).

As the author, geppetto, writes “OK so its well known to most but maybe someone just starting out might find it useful.”

It’s aimed at me! I am sure any other beginner will be delighted too.

There is a mine of useful information in the primers. Another bit of lunar software that I use all the time is 'The Virtual Moon Atlas' which is like 'Stellarium' but just for the Moon.
