NEQ3 Mount

Hi all,

Im looking to get a new mount for my Skywatcher evostar 100 ed2 pro.

I have the HEQ5 mount at the mo but its a ton weight to shift so I was looking at the NEQ3 mount as I fancy the GOTO aswell.

The question is would the scope be too heavy for the mount and is this a good mount.

I dont know what the weight capacity of the NEQ3 is nor how heavy the ED 100 is - pretty beaffy I would think.

The EQ3 is a good well made mount. No idea ho wgood the GoTo is on it but I see no reason it should be worse than the EQ5 with GoTo which by all accounts is very good indeed.

Give Steve a ring at FLO - I am sure he would advise.
