well, hard to explain why I needed another book on the moon when I've already got a moon observer's guide, a giant poster and vma but this is just such a nice book - hardback, glossy paper, and full of lovely photos and sketches. There's also a really good section (about half the book) where the main features are described and variously illustrated with information about what other features are nearby.

£25 was a bit steep but i found it on amazon marketplace for about £11 and when i had a (justifiable) whinge about the condition of the book v the description, the seller promptly refunded my money:)

I'm inspired again to really almost nearly get my pencils out and make a sketch.....!;)
