Jupiter from last night

Well this time the necessary drivers were loaded and everything worked as it should do... Unfortunately the weather didn't really help, yes it was clear over most of Holland, however, there was a lot of water vapor in the sky.

Seeing : Average

Transparency : Poor

In the end I recorded approx 500MB or 1400 frames which were then stacked using Registax.

Telescope : Mewlon M250 @ F11

Camera : Philips SPC900N

Time : 01:10 UT

Perhaps an IR pass filter would have helped, I doubt it though!

Nice shot! Got some good detail.

I have no doubt that with your setup you will do even better when seeing improves:)

I have just given the RGB alignment a touchup in Registax (hope you don't mind) It tidies up the blue fringe a bit
