Is this right?

JW about my right ascension. Is it supposed to read 0.0 or 12.12 when just normally balanced because i seem to be having problems (again!) with using my equatorial mount.

Forget what i said in the previous post as i have found out that is right.

Anyway once u have polar aligned, do you move the telescope (without using R.A or Dec) to a well known star? Once the star is in view you then you set its R.A and Dec? From there you can put in other R.A and Dec of say M31 and it should be in view?

Is this correct? Because i am having awful trouble.
