WOW awesome night tonight in Cheshire

I can even see the Milky Way.......

How cool is that considering I am in Sandbach next to the M6, Stoke, Crewe and Manchester in the distance.

Never seen so many stars from my garden.

Got 2 DLSR camera's working overtime. 350D modded on scopes and Sony A700 on tripod with 20 sec exposures.

Really niffed I broken my canon shutter cable , stuck to 30 second exposures tonight till I make a new un.

Did it cloud over a bit later?

I too popped outside at about 11:30pm and noticed a wonderfully clear sky in Coventry. I thought now's my chance to have first light with my C8 on the CG-5 GT. Managed 45 mins until it clouded over! Doh! But long enough to have a quick go.

Eventually clouded over at 3am here just as was getting too light. Had a good 4 hours imaging and testing

I'm glad that my new scope didn't cause the whole country to cloud over then!
