3 d printed adapter

I have a friend who recently moved to somewhere lovely and dark in North Wales. He has enjoyed looking at the night sky and asked about what telescope he should get etc.

I have managed to put together a cheap refractor and EQ mount (bought these secondhand years ago and sat in loft for 8 years). Found a spare diagonal, unused tube rings. Thought I had everything but then realised he’d need a finderscope. My spare finderscope didn’t fit the rings or the scope and so I have made a 3d printed adapter. I’ve been out of astronomy for pretty much a decade and have never 3 d printed any bits or adapters.

I did it at 100% infill thinking that should help rigidity. The friction fit is fantastic and does not need a locking screw. The only issue is that somehow the recess for the nut is massive! That’s why the printer is busy making another right now!
